The energy of waiting is procrastination

Here's a little article that will hopefully serve as encouragement and confirmation to create your own opportunities. Maybe all those "no's" will finally move you to say "yes" to investing in your self.. this is how the entrepreneurial spirit is born. That whole energy of waiting actually perpetuates [actually] waiting. Don't wait another year, month, week, day, or even another second. The perfect time for you to make your footprint is right now in this moment.

I think life has a sense of humor that we as individuals find difficult to make light of, in certain situations. In the midst of our fight-or-flight, we never really understand, “why us?’, until time reveals supporting situations of explanation. I believe that we all have a desire to be our utmost selves, which in return heightens the pressure that we may already feel. We are left to not only be our best, but also our own encouragement and motivation.

Through life and its amazing lessons within transitions, one thing I always perpetuate to myself, and others, is that: "No does not exist". Moreover, that we are fully capable of achieving anything our heart is set on, or as one of my favorite inspirational writers Orison Swett Marden would say, "the Creator has not given you a longing to do what you have no ability to do".

Being an artist of any realm in a new space can be challenging, especially when you're looking for that new job to make your next transition within your career. Hearing the word “no” could become frequent, and bring even more confusion of where that next step truly begins. This is when that once disparaging word MIGHT become an encouraging push further into the right direction.

Eventually, all paths may lead you to become your own saving grace through creating your OWN opportunities. So, if a seed of desire has been planted, and you have a strong yearning to start something, to do something – DO IT!

What I have learned is that you can't wait on people (i.e. promises, help, word of mouth, etc.), – or even the world. That whole energy of waiting actually perpetuates[actually] waiting. Don't wait another year, month, week, day, or even another second. The perfect time for you to make your footprint is right now in this moment. What could be better than actually investing in yourself while simultaneously making YOUR dreams come true? And your fearlessness will inspire others to do the same.
